MESI ABPI MD.
The fastest tool for diagnosing peripheral arterial disease (PAD).
It's all you are looking for in a medical device - a fast, simple, accurate and objective tool for diagnosing peripheral arterial disease.
Diagnosis of PAD in just 3 minutes.
The ABPI MD is the one automated ankle-arm index measuring device (ABPI MD), based on the oscillometric method.
Blood pressure in the upper and lower extremities is measured simultaneously, resulting in the calculation of the ankle-arm index (ABI). The test result is clear, simple, reliable and includes left and right ABI, blood pressure and heart rate.
The measurement is repetitive and can only be done in three minutes, instead of the usual 30 minutes required by the Doppler ultrasound method.
2 in 1: ABI and BP measurement
There are 2 ways of measuring:
Simultaneous measurement of left and right ABI, blood pressure and heart rate.
Autonomous measurement of arm blood pressure and heart rate.
As a company, MESI follows the motto "Simplify the diagnosis" and the application MESIresults is no exception. It has been developed to complement the ABI measurement and to provide user-friendly documentation of the results. The ABPI MD can be connected to a computer using a USB cable for electronic copy or printing. The application allows you to enter information in all files, such as the name, address and logo of the institution.
Colored cuffs simplify the use of the device. The different colors indicate where to place each cuff. The red cuff should be placed on the upper arm, green on the right and yellow on the left ankle. Each handbook includes a diagram to ensure proper placement, so no training is required as complete instructions are provided.
Long lasting rechargeable battery for maximum portability.
It has a long-lasting rechargeable battery, which provides the device with autonomy for 50 measurements.
Ergonomic support base.
To enhance the functionality of ABPI MD, a specially designed bracket that holds both the device and the cuffs. This portable wheeled stand allows the medical device to be used next to the test site.
Regardless of who performs the measurement, the result of the measurement with the MESI ABPI MD will always be the same. The MESI ABPI MD software algorithm uses a special protocol where the variables are measured and calculated equally for each test. The measurement of the ankle-arm index is Reliable and Repeatable and therefore valuable for physicians and patients.
